JOB TITLE: ACOUNTANT
LOCATION: Dar es Salaam
VACANCY DETAILS.
A selected applicant will be responsible for overseeing all accounting and financial matters of the company
JOB DUTIES:
Accurate posting of all accounting and financial transactions in ERP system.Preparation and management ofFinancialreports such as aged debtors and creditors, detailed customer statements, monthly accounting reconciliation, trading profit and loss reports and end of the year financial statementsEstablishing and implementing credit control measures by ensuring timely payment of debts, following up payments and negotiation of repayment schedulesImplementation of accounting and internal controls procedures, such as Financial and accounting Manual.Compile and prepare departmental and company budget and ensure the company and departmental expenses are in line with a set budget.Manage financial and administration teams to achieve company’s financial goalsPerforming timely and accuratelyAccounting and/ or bank reconciliations to ensure transactionsare correct and accurate.Manage company statutory obligations in accordance with Accounting policies and procedures and government regulations
Be responsiblefor payables/receivables, cash receipts, general budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure and proper valuation of fixed assetsManaging day-to-daytransactionsand managing company ledgers.Evaluate the company’s financial condition and performance and advise management accordinglyConduct risk assessment and advise on ways to minimize or eliminate all financial related risksLiaise with external auditors in conducting financial audits to ensure all audit deadlines/requirements are met.Be available to assist external auditors with any necessary help or guidance during the audit process and liaise with management for efficient and effective audit exercise.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
MUST: Experience in ERP system software such as ERP Next, SAP,SAGE and so on
Strong Written and Oral CommunicationSkills
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION.
Bachelor Degree in Accounting, finance and Related Field or equivalentCPA certification will be an added advantage.Working experience: at least 3 to 4 or more years in similar field
